Samsung launches Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 devices on August 18

 Samsung has established an early delivery date for pre-ordered Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 devices: sales will begin on August 18.

On a global basis, Samsung recently announced the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. Following that, the South Korean company began the pre-ordering procedure for both of these smartphone models. The company reports an excellent response, with around one lakh pre-orders for these gadgets received. Samsung has officially unveiled its strategy to expedite pre-ordered smartphone deliveries to customers.

Samsung unveiled its next iteration of Galaxy Z Flip foldaphone today at its Galaxy Unpacked presentation. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display and a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED 60Hz cover display.

The business has officially announced that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be available for purchase on August 18, the device's release date. 

Beginning on this date, interested purchasers will be able to purchase these phones through both online and physical means. It is vital to note that these purchases will not be eligible for pre-booking discounts.

Customers who pre-ordered the new foldable smartphones will receive them ahead of schedule, according to Samsung. The company has stated that phone delivery will begin on August 11 for individuals who engaged in the pre-ordering procedure

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 Specifications

The 7.6-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex display on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The display is 6.2-inch HD+ with Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display, 402ppi, and 120Hz adjustable refresh rate (48120Hz).

The Fold 5 weighs 253g and measures 67.1 x 154.9 x 13.4mm. There is a 10MP Selfie Camera with FOV: 85 and a 4MP Under Display Camera on the camera front. There are three cameras on the back: a 12MP ultra wide camera, a 50MP wide angle camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera.

The smartphone has three storage variants, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform and combined with 12GB Memory.

This device is supported by a 4,400mAh twin battery with cable charging capabilities (up to 50% charge in 30 minutes with a 25W adapter). The power adaptor will be available for purchase separately. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 has an IPX8 rating and is water resistant for up to 1.5 meters in freshwater for up to 30 minutes.

The phone runs on Android 13 and Samsung's proprietary One UI 5.1.1, with connectivity options including 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth v5.3.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy is combined with 8GB of RAM. The phone has two storage capacities: 256GB and 512GB. Other features of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 include a 3,700mAh dual battery that can charge to 50% in roughly 30 minutes with a 25W adapter 3A USB-C connection, quick wireless charging 2.0, and wireless powerShare.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 provides a sleek, one-of-a-kind foldable experience from a pocket-sized smartphone designed for self-expression. 

The device's new Flex Window is 3.78 times larger than the previous generation, and it offers a wide range of existing and new features. It gives you more customization options, such as informational and graphical clocks.
