A woman can be heard saying that it was already past 12 but Burj Khalifa refused to display their flag. She also said Pakistanis were raising slogans. "Pakistan ka jhanda Burj Khalifa par nahi lagi. So sad! Prank ho gaya Pakistanio," she said in the video.


A video from Dubai has leaked on the internet showing hundreds of Pakistanis left disappointed and enraged when the Burj Khalifa failed to display the Pakistan flag at the stroke of midnight on their Independence Day.



 Hundreds of Pakistani nationals can be seen in the video waiting near the Burj Khalifa around midnight, expecting it to be light up with the colors of their national flag. However, despite the fact that it was minutes past midnight, no display was projected on the world's highest structure.

Last year on August 14, Pakistan's flag was displayed on the Burj Khalifa, and this year on March 24.


In response to yesterday's incident, X user Zehra Fatima tweeted: "Just watched the most incredible prank ever! #On Pakistan's #IndependenceDay2023, UAE authorities conducted a hilarious stunt, tricking everyone into thinking they'd see their flag on the Burj Khalifa. The disappointment is palpable, yet everything is in good fun."

Today, the Burj Khalifa engaged in a game of 'hide and seek' with Pakistani patriots. Spoiler alert: the flag is still hidden, and Pakistanis are demanding their money back.


Another user, Raquf Qadri, stated that the lack of a Pakistan flag on the Burj Khalifa in Dubai is disappointing news for all Pakistanis.

Muntaha stated that Pakistan's continued support for terrorists has resulted in nothing but worldwide embarrassment. "On Pakistan's Independence Day, Pakis gathered near the Burj Khalifa to witness Pak's flag, which is a far distant dream...While the Indian Tricolor is seen unfurling in every nook and corner."
