Lunar Naming Chaos! Modi vs. Congress: 'Shiv Shakti' or 'Jawahar' - The Ultimate Face-Off

 "Explosive Disagreement Erupts: Modi's 'Shiv Shakti Point' Lunar Name Faces Congress' 'Jawahar Point' Challenge!"

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the landing site of Chandrayaan 3 on the moon 'Shiv Shakti Point', there was a disagreement between the BJP and Congress. 

Congress leader Rashid Alvi disagreed with the name and suggested 'Jawahar Point', where Chandrayaan-1 had landed in 2008, named after Jawaharlal Nehru. Alvi found it strange that Modi could name a moon spot. He said that while they were proud of the achievement, they didn't own the moon or the spot.

The term 'Jawahar Point' was used for the spot where Chandrayaan-1 crash-landed in 2008. Alvi emphasized that Nehru's legacy couldn't be compared, and he accused Modi of turning it into a political issue.

In response, BJP's Shehzad Poonawalla accused Congress of being 'anti-Hindu' for opposing the names like 'Shiv Shakti Point' and 'Tiranga Point'. 

He mentioned that both names are connected to the country. He also speculated that Congress would have chosen different names if they were in power.

'Jawahar Point', or 'Jawahar Sthal', is near Shackleton Crater where ISRO's Moon Impact Probe crash-landed on November 14, Nehru's birthday.

PM Modi's recent visit to ISRO celebrated Chandrayaan 3's success. 

He named the Chandrayaan 3 landing site 'Shiv Shakti Point', the Chandrayaan 2 landing point 'Tiranga Point', and designated August 23 as National Space Day.
